Things You Probably Already Know (But Maybe Forgot About)
Well, now… It’s about time I write something for al you guys out there. I certainly don’t want you to think I am biased in any way. I promise you I most certainly am not. It just happened that I posted what I had already had written and it just happened there was nothing for you.

So here’s what I did. I scoured all my sources, the internet, my mind and my own experience and came up with the best information on things that you might already know, but maybe forgot, things you might not know and need to know now, and of course a few irrelevant things I am throwing in just cause… So, here goes…

First Fate Material
The women got a first date post, so here is one just for the guys. If I a ot mistaken, I know that sometimes guys can be even more nervous than women when it comes to going on that first date. Am I right? any women don’t realize it, but all the men I now and hag out with have the same issues as women. Body and self esteem issues and such… So here’s a few tips for the first date. Keep it smooth, keep it rolling and you’ll be fine.

  • Make plans before you pick here up (or meet somewhere). Never pick up a date without knowing where the two of you are going. This can make you look not confident enough to make decisions. When you make the plans on where you go and what to do, it makes you look like you know what you are doing and shows her that you are not afraid to take charge when it is needed.
  • Never ask her to go dutch. If you do she will probably take it as you are being cheap, or not sure about finances. Unless it was agreed to before you picked her up while you were making the plans with her for the date to do so, going dutch is just plain corny.

**Exception To The Rule: She asks first. If she takes the initiative, then by all means go dutch. Just don’t take advantage of it though. When a woman wants to show her independence and show you her good graces, it is wrong to automatically assume it will happen every time.

  • Don’t assume she wants to date your friends too. What I mean by this is don’t make a date with her and then take her somewhere where all your friends are going to be to interrupt. This is very annoying. It can also say to her that you do not feel comfortable being alone with her. How do you expect a second date if you are pretty much saying to her that you need to date her in the presence of your friends? Never going to happen, I guarantee you this.

When a woman agrees to go on a date with you, she means with you. Unless she specified she wanted to meet your friends and you agreed (highly unlikely) then of course it is OK. I do know, however, when they go on a first date, most women want the date to be with you, not your friends. So if you want to do anything that includes anyone other than the two of you, ask her first.

I remember I went on a first date and my ex did this to me. He picked me up and, instead of taking me to dinner like we planned, he took me to is friends house. Why? To this day, I still don’t know. Maybe he was trying to show e he cared. But if that was the case, he should have asked before hand instead of making me think it was just going to be me and him.

You Can and Will Succeed
If you are the man that you claim to be, you will do well to remember these things. They are such basic things and most men forget them. It’s not your fault, it is how you were raised. Us women know that already, so don’t worry. . In the time when common courtesy and chivalry is practically non-existent, it is amazing that you are even reading this. And for that, give yourself some a lot of credit. Most men will refuse to admit they need help with things and because you are here, silently, nonetheless, but you are here and you have. And remember, if you follow this advice, it can only get better from here.

Check back in a few days, as I will be adding to your brand new section with more advice and tips for men, and sometimes even from a man’s perspective.
